On February 7, 2018, MOFCOM issued announcement No.8 of 2018, announcing its preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation against the 3-Phenoxy-benzaldehyde imported from India.
It rules that dumping existed in the imports of 3-Phenoxy-benzaldehyde originating from India, the domestic industry was substantially impaired and there was casual link between the dumping and its substantive damages. So a deposit form of anti-dumping measures will be adopted.
According to the ruling, since February 8, 2018, the importers of 3-Phenoxy-benzaldehyde should submit the relevant deposit in line with the companies’ confirmed dumping degrees (36.2%-56.9%） to the Customs of People’s Republic of China. The product is incorporated into the Import and Export Tariff of the People’s Republic of China under term 29124990, and other products under the same term will not be included in this investigation.
