Currently, Chongqing Municipal Government and HP officially signed an agreement that HP Global Testing Service Center was formally set up in China Chongqing Xiyong Micro-electronics Industrial Park. It was known that this is another major project in the layout of Chongqing after HP set up global software service center (Chongqing) since 2005.

The newly set up HP global testing service center is the world’s second of global testing service center apart from US-based one and the only testing service center in Asian-Pacific areas, whose business will cover the whole Asian-Pacific areas and even European and American areas. The settlement of center in Chongqing marks Chongqing has been fully linked to HP global industrial chains, and Chongqing will be the strategic cooperation BPC that HP gives priority to the development in Asian-Pacific areas. It was introduced that the center will recruit nearly 2000 testing engineers in three years, and staff engaging in software development will reach 5000 in five years.
