The relevant data from Department of Commerce of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region showed in the first five months, the whole region approved 66 foreign-invested enterprises with actually utilizing foreign capital of USD415m, down 4% year-on-year.
Foreign investment mainly came from 14 countries and regions including British Virgin Islands and US, mainly concentrating on such industries as electric power, fuel gas, water production and supply, manufacturing as well as lodging and catering. Currently, those competitive industries such as energy chemicals, mining development and electric power supply are still foreign-invested hot spots.
